I have a Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Counselling from the Wealden Institute in Crowborough and my approach is integrative in that I draw on a wide range of therapeutic counselling methods (including Person-Centred, TA, Gestalt, Mindfulness and CBT) according to your individual needs. As an accredited member of the UKCP and a member of the BACP, I work in accordance with their ethics and values.
I have a particular interest in working with relationship issues, loss and change, low self esteem and anxiety issues, plus
depression, but these are only some of the many and varied issues I deal with.
I also have a Masters Degree in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy and much experience in working with both teenagers and young children, including 12 years' background in secondary and primary schools (including roles as a School Counsellor, Teaching Assistant and Learning Mentor). I am fully insured and CRB checked. In addition to running a private practice and my current work within schools, I have worked for Cruse Bereavement Care and other charitable organisations, counselling clients of all ages.
